What Do We Do?
Causeway One Stop Shop is a
community based mental health resource for people living
in East Renfrewshire.
We provide a variety
of groups, individual support and counselling. Service
can be tailored to the needs of an individual and
support can be given in evenings and weekends when necessary. |
What We've Been Up To... Recent Events...
On 28th January 2011 RAMH were delighted to launch the RAMH Carers Handbook.
This
handbook was researched and put together by the East Renfrewshire Carers'
Support Group who meet no the last Tuesday of every month at
15 Carlibar Road, Barrhead from 6.30pm to 8pm.

RAMH Launches East Renfrewshire Mental Health Directory 2010/11.
We are delighted to launch a directory of mental health services in East Renfrewshire. This is a consultation edition and we welcome suggestions and changes before the end of May 2010. You can download the directory by clicking here. Suggestions and changes should be sent to amanda@ramh.org. |

On 20th April 2010 RAMH joined a Co-operative of Mental Health organisations in Scotland at the Scottish Parliament.
This was an excellent event which showcased important partnership work happening between mental health organisations across Scotland. RAMH Stakeholders travelled to Edinburgh to support the event which was a great success ending with a tour of the impressive building! |



Invite to Mental Health Strategy Meeting
RAMH invite service users, carers, volunteers and staff to a Consultation Meeting with Penny Curtis from the Scottish Government in order for people to find out more about the strategy and to have there opinions heard, and hear discussions.

What Else We've Been Up To... Fund Raising
Lands End to John O'Groats
Recent Events at Causeway have included the Summer Garden Festival which went very well even the rain managed to stay away (well most of the day) around £600 was raised for RAMH.

James Wilson our Group Support Worker completed a Sponsored Cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise funds for RAMH. James along with team members Alan and Lisa achieved this amazing feat and travelled 957 miles raising £516 for RAMH.

Other fundraising events over the summer have included a car boot sale, raising £300, white water rafting raising over £427 and staff and volunteers running the Paisley Vision 10k road race raising £300.

Well done and big thank you to all our fund raisers this Summer
Future Fundraising Events
Fashion Show Sunday 6th November 2011 Matalan Store, Phoenix Park, Linwwood was a hugh sucess, with 20 models and over 120 people attending, just under £500 was raised. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we at RAMH would like to thank everyone who helped us make this event such a sucess including students from Reid Kerr College Hair & Beauty and Fashion Design Students from Cardonald College who helped to makeover the models and describe outfits.
