Renfrewshire Youth Counselling Services (ERYCS)
E.R.Y.C.S. work with young people and children in a variety
of ways to offer support with emotional or mental health
issues they may be facing, such as anxiety, stress, bullying,
eating issues, self-harm, bereavement and relationship difficulties.
We also provide support and training to teachers and staff
from other organisations that work with young people.
What do we do?
We provide support to children and young people from 11 – 18
year olds in lots of different ways. We offer: -
· One to one counselling with young people

Work in groups
·
Work with families
We offer support and training in areas such as: -
· Child and Adolescent Mental Health
·
Loss and Bereavement
·
Problem Solving
·
Managing Distress
·
Self-harm
How can I get support from E.R.Y.C.S.?
If you are a young person aged between 11 and 18 years old
and live in or go to secondary school in East Renfrewshire
then you can get in touch with us and we can help you. We
will meet with you to look at what is best for you. We can
meet you in the school or in the community. You may not need
to ask your parent’s permission to come and see us
if you are 12 or over.
Other people can get in touch with E.R.Y.C.S. for you if
you would prefer. This can be your mum or dad, your GP, your
teacher, or someone else who is helping you.
